The original body finish has been stripped and replaced with a Watco oil finish, giving the guitar a more natural wood appearance and a well-used character. A short leaf spring has also been installed at the bridge. There are signs that a neck pickup and pickup selector were previously added. The associated routes/openings have since been filled with wood, and the guitar is currently configured with a single bridge P-90. The pickup has been replaced and is not original. The tuning pegs show some bending, but currently function without any major tuning issues. The guitar delivers the crisp attack and strong midrange associated with a P-90, combined with the resonance of the mahogany body. This is a modified, player-grade SG Junior rather than an original-condition example. Condition: * Neck: Good * Frets: Some minor indentations. No dead notes. * Truss rod: Adjustment room remains. * String action: 1.7 mm on the 6th string and 1.6 mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret. * Cosmetic condition: Dents, scratches, dirt, and signs of use are present. * Electronics: No issues. * Output jack: No issues. * Modifications / replaced parts: Body refinished with Watco oil after the original finish was stripped.
